EHAP

The Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) has approved the Los Angeles County Emergency Food and Shelter Program to be the Designated Local Board (DLB) under the Emergency Housing and Assistance Program (EHAP). This designation allows the EFSP DLB to release a competitive application for operating facility grants.  The application will be released on March 14, 2011.  Information regarding the application and bidder's conference can be found on this page.

Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Location: The EFSP Offices, located at 1150 S. Olive Street, Suite T500, Los Angeles, CA 90015. The meeting will held in our 4th floor conference center.

Parking: There is street parking around our building.  There are also several open air parking lots on the corner of 11th Street/Olive and 12the Street/Olive.  Parking at these open air parking lots is $5. 

The application will focus on the following areas:
  • Operating facility grants for shelter operations that are currently targeting high barrier households and demonstrating successful placement of clients into permanent housing or permanent supportive housing;
  • Operating facility grants focusing on those programs that are working towards targeting high barrier households and are actively seeking to implement a plan to place high barrier households into permanent housing or permanent supportive housing;
  • Rental Assistance Grants; and
  • Winter Shelter Programming Grants.

*Please note that Food and Motel Voucher grants are not eligible under the EHAP 16 grant.
